Default project 2FAST4U 346/88mm/th400 build: critique my plans!!

ok, so im gonna take the turbo plunge and am coming up with a parts list. my goal in the beginning is 1000 rwhp. i want to do it right the first time but also would like to save money where i can. my current car is a cammed th400 nitrous car so i can sell a few things to offset the cost a bit and plan to pull out of my 401k to help with the rest (dont tell my old ladie!!). ok guys, here is what im thinking as of now, and by all means if something is not right let me know.

fuel system:
triple racetronix e85 compatible pumps+hotwire following mightymouse's diy writeup. 8AN feed and 6AN return, aeromotive boost referenced regulator and aeromotive rails,e85 compatible filter. injectors will be fic2000's. i will be using e85 and meth.

turbo:
on3 88mm t4 cold side .75 a/r 4" inlet 3" out hotside outlet 3.5" .96 a/r and either obx turbo headers or will use truck manifolds. any big gains by using a turbo header over the truck manifolds? ok, need advice on this
what wastegate?
what blowoff valve?
what is a good boost controller?

motor:
i plan to use the ls1 346 since i have it. or should I go with a bigger motor to start since im planning on a 88mm turbo? stock bore for wall thickness. i am thinking a cr of 9:0.1 to 9:3.1,need advice with piston selection to achieve that. also what ring gap is recommended forr boost .024? for the crank if i balance the rotating assembly with stock crank is it ok or do i need a forged crank? I know people have hit 1000hp on the stock crank but has anyone reliably used one at 1000 rwhp for a period of time? i dont plan on spinning past 7000 rpms. for rods callies h beams with arp2000 bolts, diamond pistons. ls9 headgaskets, arp main and head studs,ls7 lifters and for the cam selection im probably gonna talk to martin @ tick, i know he puts it down with the n/a stuff but i need to see if he is proven with boost cams. any suggestions on that? i do still want a lopey idle. im not tryin to hide nothin! how does all this sound? should i convert to ls6 pcv and valley? as far as heads will probably go with 317's if they would be a good choice. will use the ls6 intake. should i bump up the cr since ill be using meth and running e85?

transmission:
i already got a fti lvl3 th400 and a fti 4000 stall thats just a few months old and got a restall free in the first year, i was thinking 3400-3600 on the restall?

so this is all in the beginning planning stages so im just trying to learn right now and come up with a combo that on paper should perform pretty well, so let me know what you all think, and i will probably be poping up in threads asking questions and reading a lot in here for a while.is the 1000 rwhp realistic at around 20-25lbs?

There are alot of great guys in kc that can help you also make sure to use your local help but turbo is gonna depend on how much street time vs track time and you can get a much more efficent smaller turbo vs a 88 just my 2 cents lol

From my research I've found that the aluminum block can distort at the power levels you're looking at. Might want to consider going to an iron block

I'm not sure how well the On3 would make power up and over 1000whp. I don't think anyone has cracked the 1000whp mark with one just yet. The highest I've seen is upper 800s.

As far as wastegate and BOV, since you are already using an On3 turbo, I would just get their wastegate/BOV combo.

You also don't need triple E85 pumps. Racetronix themselves doesn't make an E85 as far as I know. Chances are its a Walbro pump. 3 of their 450/485 pumps are good for about 3000 HP which is complete overkill. You would have serious issues controlling fuel pressure using 3 pumps with a -6 return line. Also, FIC2000s are horrible for E85:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...85-issues.html

Also, don't worry so much about the stock crank. There have been numerous people break 1000 HP on the stock crank/pistons/rods. The crank doesn't start to become an issue until 1200 or so HP and even then there are ways to keep it from flexing.

I haven't seen any numbers made yet with the on3 t4 88 and I would think that a stroker setup would choke because of the t4 hotside. I would also do truck manifolds and skip the OBX header setup. Can get something of similar price that shouldn't need the amount of modding to fit that the OBX setup would.
