I'd say so. Stock48 went 8.22's on an sbe 6.0 in a nova.

 

yeah this is pumpgas ~19psi and 11deg timing

i would be interested in seeing what it wants to throw down on c16 and 26lbs

I don't care what anyone else is running 8.4 is FLYING and the fact that it is on pump gas only makes it that much sweeter. We have gotten used to so many fast/SIQQQQQQQ builds that we forget how difficulty it is to get to that level of efficiency in a setup.

 

it has a 295 radial, and 3.08 gears, it goes thru the big end at like 6300
we are only shifting it at 6200 or so

 

yeah this car is a poster child of getting it done for sure

 

The turbocharger that is currently on the car has pushed a 3250 pound Fox hatch to a 7.88@177 pass....

being as hes 200 pounds lighter.... Id say theres quite a lot left in it.

Such an awesome build and to only be at 19psi/11* on pump gas is amazing.
