Default Bmw 745 4.8 4l60e single turbo swap

Acquired this car with a blown motor so i figured it would be a nice swap victim. Stock 4.8 gapped rings freshened up with a ls6 cam and yellow springs. So far I made motor mount brackets and a trans mount. Working on the accessories now and building a drive shaft. Gonna have a single front mount should be fun. Ill add more pictures later

Look on bimmerforms. There are several people working on a can bus solution for the E46. You may find some help there.

yeah it looks like a silverado cluster. How the heck did you pull that off? And what size turbo and what boost are you at? Any dyno or track numbers?

It is unfortunate when people pop in make a post or two, no details, nothing. This is a cool swap, but it sure would be great to see how it all went together, instead of "hey y'all look at me!"

Sorry don't have much time to post. It is a cluster out of a silverado. The can system still remains intact for everything that's still on the can system like the light control module, ac , etc. everything power train wise is class 2 data gm ecm motor trans and cluster. I added a gm fuel level sending unit for fuel level. Also I made a push button shifter using a linear actuators because this car doesn't have a shifter. The only thing not working is ABS and cruise control. I have it set at only 8lbs of boost right now untill I get some more miles on it. It did 450hp to the wheels. Not super fast for a heavy tank but I wil be dialing up the boost soon

Did you use truck accessories with an aftermarket alternator bracket? And an LS1 intake manifold?

Yes it's a painted ls1 intake. Camaro waterpump with spacers to match up with the truck accessories and still work w the ls1 intake. Also used Dirty Dingos bracket for the alt and power steering pump. I added a wallbro in the tank and utilized the stock lines and filter that has the regulator and return built into it
