Default THE next true street car build

The Goal: Pick up where I left off with my old Ws6. (mm3)
Great street car but lots of drawbacks when it came to competing though I had a great run.

Winner of LSX Shootout True Street in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 (second place 2009 w/ engine damage) as well as winner at the Holley LS Fest 2010 and 2011

The following pictures are over the past two years.
The Car: 08 Z06 with about 600 original miles (rear end collision / total).
I picked it up via Mark Carlyle from IPS. Frame and some body with complete Interior.

It's *** end was all jacked up so needed a straight one.

John Holt Racecars was contracted to do the 25.3 cage, fix the frame, some reassembly along with fabbing the turbo mounts and mods to frame rail for boost. These guys did a TON of work.

I contributed a mid and front motor plate.

and finally came home:

and immediately went out to a local shop (Roscoe's Pro Shop), to seal up remaining leaks in the frame rail and prepare what parts of the oem wiring we will reuse.

and work on the fuel system

While the car was at Holt, the engine was being born at ERL
427 6 bolt superdeck with their big block rods /crank combo among a boatload of custom billet goodness. Cant show you much of the guts, sorry.

Where they took it to a full long block, meeting up with a pair of Mr. Bob All Pro's LSW-12 heads and components pushed around by the solid roller Spec'd by Jeff Liebert (also did the assembly)

And a Dailey billet pan via Mark Carlyle

and here it is

I've been waiting in the wings ordering other parts:

Racepak Logger and BS3 upgrades for it and traction control by Joe at Hyperaktive

pulse leash (trans brake bump box)

coil over kit from Qa1

Some of these parts (RPM 400 trans, DTE diff, Yank stall, 15" drag conversion and Weld wheels) made it onto my daily driver at the time for a rushed and failed attempt at the 2013 LS Fest (lost a bearing in the engine in practice)

All of those parts were intended for and eventually carried back over onto the 'Race Car'

other details outlined but not yet in real life are:

-Waterman cable drive fuel pump
-FIC injectors
-DeWitts radiator
-Forced Inductions turbochargers
-Race Part Solutions pipes/fittings/misc. components
-various Mightymouse Solutions trinkets
-remaining front end components, fenders/inside fenders

That is about up to date. I have a long ways to go but want to set a goal for myself to fire the thing this year. I did an interview with Derek Putnam for FSC magazine and wanted to get this info out and ahead for the companies and individuals that have put in work for us (mainly me) to enjoy!

Wow..

This car is going to be insane. Any hints at what your goals for the car are?

Obviously with that cage one can speculate but..
