Hey guys,

Just started the setup with new PT88 Turbo idles great everything seems in order but the turbo is not turning/spinning when the car is idling as soon as I slightly rev it to 2000rpm it spins great.

so is this normal for a new turbo ?

Help me out guys.

My pt88 did he same thing. Pretty normal after doing some searching. Mine started spinning at idle once it got good and hot a couple times.

That's normal for the bigger turbos. My pt88 would spin at idle but not near as fast as my 76mm's.

Still have to get some injectors and a tune. Not done yet. Right now it's just a stock 5.7 next year I'll put my lq4 in it and turn it up a little more.

New to forced induction so trying to figure it all out in steps lol.
