The topic of A/W seems to come up often, but there's never a lot of photo's of the setups mounted. There are a few spread through E.RodZ Front Mount Turbos thread.
I'm setting mine up with a 12x16x4.5" Frozenboost intercooler, but I'm a few months out from having photo's yet.
I do like how Mightymouse and crf538 had theirs tucked under the drivers side relay blocks, where the cruise control module sits. Clean

How much are you looking to gain from your old A/A setup which i considered a very nice setup?

Are those custom built twin exhaust manifolds or purchased from a vendor? I'd love to see some pics of the headers. That's a great compact layout that could be applied to a number of old school muscle cars and truck platforms.

the exhaust headers are from a&a corvette, car creations, they were made for turbo system on a corvette, only 5 sets were made. 321 stainless, I bought them on ebay
were expensive,( $1800 if I remember correctly) have to remove headers to change plugs, PITA,their project was abandoned.

I'm looking to gain a lot. Due to turbo placement it is drawing in 120 degree air from the radiator then compressing that air another couple of hundred degrees since we are trying to max out the turbo. It was nothing for me to see 175-200 degree IAT's before. With the A/W I should be able to maintain 100 or less very easily but likely around 80ish degrees. So we are talking about lowering IAT's 100-120 give or take.

Nice guys keep em comin. Thadd what you just said is a big reason why I want to go a2w from the start. I feel like it's not too much more expensive so I'd rather spend the money once than upgrade later.

The a2a works a little better on the street. It is easy to keep it just over ambient at all times. The water does alright not quite as good though
But at the track by the time u sit in line, burnout and stage at the track I would be 140+ before even making a run
Where with the a2w not even in the same league on the track especially with ice
Gained a bunch of cooling system efficiency with the a2a gone too
