Default 408 pt94mm

I have 408 built for boost. 9.5cr pump gas/ e85 backed by a th400. its a street strip car. I had my eye on precision's pt94mm f trim t5 1.0a/r. now is that turbo overkill for that motor or should I go with a t4 turbo? now im running a2a intercooler by ron shearer fabrications. im not looking for a dyno queen I wanna well built fast car with 1300hp in mind if not 1200 will suffice. basically the fastest I can go with a a2a intercooler. so what yall think

With the proper cam and conveter, that would work quite well.

T4 and 408 should not be used in the same paragraph.

What he said. Call Martin at Tick, Liljohn, or Mark at Bullet Cams.

I've called Mark from bullet and he told me that 94mm was too big of a turbo n it would have lag. So he wouldn't spec me out one. A well renown person referred me to him.

There is a huge difference between that and the normal t6 Borg stuff eveyone runs around here. Compressor size isn't a big deal. That just has a huge lazy turbine compared to the normal stuff guys run. Think 130/106mm lol

And g and f are both the thumper turbines. Both share a ~130mm inducer and f is a ~106 exducer and g a ~112mm exducer iirc or around there. Where like a gt55 is a 112/102

The bigger s400 turbine most run is a 96/88

O ok now lost me with this trim stuff lol...basically the pt94 is overkill n not meant for my motor but a 76 80 88 is an ideal snail

It will lag some, but it will definitely work.
