Man I thought I was bad about updates

I know you have made some progress on this thing, lets see it!

 

Well....... the Chevelle project took a bit of a turn. This past September I ran across my old 68 Camaro that I built between 1994 and 1996. I had regretfully sold it back in 2002 after I moved to AZ and lost storage. I had been looking for the car since I moved back in 2010, but was unable to find it. Long story short, I bought the car back and drove it the rest of the year. In November I decided to tear it all apart and make it my "race" car. I removed the big block, TH400 trans, fuel system, MSD ignition system, exhaust, front suspension, , steering, front brakes, rear shocks, cooling system, hood, grille, and various other pieces and parts. The Chevelle was the donor car for some of the pieces I used such as the front brakes, engine and Holley EFI system. Now the Chevelle sits safely wrapped up in the corner of the garage awaiting its turn as I am driving the new and improved Camaro!

 

Hate to see any chevelle project get sidelined, but totally understand given the history with the camaro. That's awesome you were able to find it and buy it back.

 

The Chevelle will get her turn and now the pressure is off because I at least have a car to drive.
