I keep getting mixed reviews on this. Some say very little, just clean them off, others say a bigger burn out. I never did a real long heavy smokey burn out.

Pressure wise I think you'll just have to see what your car likes. Heat wise I've always had the best luck with big John Force burnouts on 555r's. I've probably made 100+ passes on different sets of them through the years and this is just what worked for me! Your best mod by far will be going to a better track than Commerce though

Even with good drag radials the track prep has to be good. Its why i prefer slicks.

Well my issue with the slicks was indeed the valve stem core. Replaced it today and the slicks aired up just fine. Hope to get back out there one day soon.
