Default Max boost? GT45, stock LM7, 93/ no meth

100% unopened LM7. Currently have it up to 8.5psi on 93 pump gas. What is the highest you've run with this combo on straight pump gas?

i usually like to quit at 14psi without methanol and itll live forever

that being said i have done 20 or so on a 4.8 and 5.3 with no methanol and approx 8-10deg of timing on those setups, making 600-675 to the tire on a 80e

i have a 4.8/gt45/wa ic/93 and ran for about two months of daily-ish driving with the bottom of the gate unplugged and the top to boost, which basically just forced the gate always closed.
i saw about 26psi peak and never hurt anything but it never saw load at that boost since it just spun the tires.
normally just drive around on about 15psi and 14* timing and nothing has fallen off yet.
I have gotten pretty aggressive(i think) with timing in the lower boost numbers and it seems to like it. i think the 4.8s want more timing than 5.3s. It seems to be happy not starting to pull timing until about 6psi, and I think ive gone as high as 24* at 6psi.
who knows though i might be about to blow the pistons into the pan.

im not sure ls6 springs are going to be enough. ive always gone overkill with duals from BTR but ive seen a lot of people have good luck with the psi singles

pac 1218s are the 'cheap' springs ive heard of that people use. I plan to use them on my next boosted 5.3 but my 4.8 has the btr duals and i spin that 76-78 sometimes at 15+ psi

ls6 springs are not enough, any stock spring is not enough

AT LEAST do the pac1218 so long as the lift and ramp rate isnt agressive on your cam

10lbs is ideal with around 17-21* timing with no meth

i ran 14lbs on 15* timing for a while and never had any problems and plugs looked fine. now im at 16-17 with 15* with a few gallons of 110. plugs still look fine and even looks like it needs a little more timing. I also ran 14 with stock bolts and just cam and spings.
