slower with stall??

Default slower with stall??

Having an issue maybe you guys can help me with. Few weeks back I went to the track did a best of 13.05 with a 2.08 60ft stock stall tranny had some issues wouldn't shift 3rd without lifting throttle that was killing me. Came home ordered a yank pas3800 and new transgo kit different servos few other parts, got them all in did proper break in on stall it feels good until high speeds. Took it to the track tonight best it would do is 13.3 with 1.98 60ft got slower every time I ran it. Traction was good slight spin on launch same as before running 295 drag radials. Is the stall possibly slipping up top? it stalls fine locks and unlocks fine tranny shifts great now.

I'm sure this isn't the right place for this but was going to ask about my blower problem as well. I have a p1sc-1 was wondering what recommendations are for switching to 8 rib from 6 who bracket setup to use and where to get it?

if you have a blown ls car running low 13s you need to post up the complete combo

engine,trans,axle and all mods so these guys can help sort it out. seems way off to me.

Well its having massive belt slip problems it's a 6 rib belt 6 inch crank and 4 inch blower only will see 1-3 lbs use to get 7 until the bracket came loose fixed it all never has been right since so I think it twisted the stock j bracket. Right now the car is long tubes dual 3 inch X pipe ls6 intake stock long block. I want to go 8 rib whole setup just not sure best route would like to bump to 10#

You need to sort out the belt slip before addressing any other issue.

I have been trying to sort it out just decided to go with a new setup and bigger belt the 6 inch crank seems to give lots of people problems. But should I go sdce or aster?

Im assuming you have tried a new or slightly tighter belt?

Can't help you on the blower bracket. Just don't mess with converter or transmission until your power fluctuation problem is resolved as converters act differently under different load conditions.

Ya belt is so small barley can get it on so it tightens up real tight

I was looking into the aster see alot of people using it but all the forums I read were older so wasn't sure if there was anything newer/better but I will probably go with that bracket up to 10# with meth

With aster kit you have to use the ls2 water pump and they space the pulley out 11/32 I have a account at a local store can get the water pump 1/3 there price how bad is it to space the pulley out?

You could prolly just use a pulley puller to move the pulley forward 11/32.
