big problem

Default big problem

just got the engine back together and i got the nasty fuel rails but the alt from the kit it relocated and i cant get the fuel pressure gauge hooked up because there is not enough room and i cant seem to find a 90 fitting that doesnt interfere any info would be great,this just bugs me because the car is ready to fire up ecept for this,oh and i took the piece of plastic off the back but it is hitting all the diodes and stuff mounted to the back of it

Cant you put the sender on the rear of the rail or where the crossover is?

my sender i put on the back, look through jegs and just get the tightest 90* fitting you can find. those ended up being $30 each for me, full swivel ones if they didnt work i was going to cut some off of that rail.

well i dont think i could because i allready have the lines made up on the back and the an fittings are all made into them

cant help with out seeing it. Mine fit right? did you get speed inc ones?
I have AN fittings at my hose, i have -8,-10's 90* 45* ect if you want to try them out. if it works just pay me for them if not just give them back. better then waisting money.

Question 2 Step Question!!!!!!!!!!**~~

I have my 2-step in but disconected. i had a couple issues with it, i think i have it right now. I tried a couple hits in my driveway and on the street set at 4,500 and it just melts the tires. But im going to go for the gusto next time out with it pluced in so im thinking 5k-5500k
what is everyone leaving at with 6 speed cars?
I aint messin round tho, if i have to i'll take it to 6,000k or hell skip the 2-step all together and bounce the limmiter at 6900!

Post a pic..... why not do a fitting like this with the sender coming out the side? Mine are Na$ty Performance rails... or are you talking about not enough romm because of the 90 degree fitting's size???

well. when ever you want. Bring some pics, i might be able to help out a little. I have mine set up similar to FRC, it is on my pass side front rail. But swing by my hose if you want, check out my set up it might help with some ideas.
By the way that 2-step question was supposed to be a seperat thread, thats weird!
frc, did you get you NOGO tuning??? How is it?

i believe his problem is clearance with the relocated alternator that you guys dont have.. correct? but yea you can move the sending unit fitting wherever you want to make room.. i used to have some pics of my rails with the alternator in the way, ill see about finding them tonight.

If your rails have any center taps , then you can also install the sender like this-
