Turbo Recommendations Just trying to get an idea of turbos to research. This winter I want to turbo my truck. Its a sonoma with a 08 ly6 6.0. L92 heads, Ls3 valves, Ls3 intake manifold and TB. 227/235 vvt cam. Itll be a front mount with fabricated log manifolds and 2 or 2.25" crossover. It will have to be a t4 turbo since theres little room under the hood. Transmission is a Jakes Stage 2 4l80e and a Circle D convertor which Ill get restalled for the new setup. Power goal is at the very minimum 650whp. Preferably 700. Currently Ive been looking at Turbonetics 7875 and Comps ct43 series in the 7879 and 8079 range. I dont want get something that Im already pushing the limits of since I always seem to set a goal and then up it a few years down the road.

Guess i should have mentioned this as well. It has to be a midsize frame turbo. If a s480 would fit it wouldnt be a question. Id love a 480 for its cost vs power.
if your not worried about the fastest spool, id say hands down gt4788 or pt88 is best hands down t4 turbo if you need a smaller turbo..however idk exactly how big a pt 7675 is but thats also a good choice..im also tight on space so i havva 7575 tnetics billet BB..its an amazing turbo! but with me wanting to always turn it up more and more..i honestly wish i wouldve either gotten a pt88 or a gt series 76/84 or somethin of that nature..best of luck to you..but a tc7875 on your 6.0 should be good to around 900 and issa bad lil bitch

Thanks, its a daily driver so I want something that wont be terrible on spooling, Im really leaning towards the 7875 right now after talking to a few locals that have them.
well yea if u want a quicker spool..id say that turbo is great for you..my 75 had alotttta lag with my stock converter on my 5.7 but now witha 3200 theres almost no lag..its awesome! so if u havva 6.0 and have attttleastt a 3k stall i dont see why it wouldnt spool up extrememly fast..like before 3k rpm's
