Default Best 3 bar MAP for 411 pcm

What is the best 3 bar map to run with an 01-02 411 pcm. Will be doing a pcm swap and want to do this at the same time. A part number and/or link would be great

I would just get the LS9 map sensor but you would need a new pigtail harness or adapter and figure out how to mount it. It's a much better and more accurate sensor than the old block style 3 bar map sensors.

Watch your OS.
I have a 0411 PCM out of a 01 Sierra. OS won't support a 3 bar so now I think I have to swap to a different OS . Just a heads up if you don't know and run into it

Sooo OS stands for what operating system? I also have a 411 PCM out of something like a 01 V6 Astro. ... I was told by PSI harness that any 411 would work fine with my HP tuners pro and a 3 bar?

Various vehicles used various Operating Systems.
Some if these simply won't convert to 3 bar. Some will convert to 3 bar but with a reduced resolution VE table.
Others convert with a nice high resolution VE table.

I can say that the 99-00 Fbody OS works well. Even if it's in the 0896 PCM. I'm using one in my nova.

If you have a 0411 PCM, no guarantee the OS in it converts nicely. But you can rewrite the PCM with a 99-00 Fbody OS then convert to 3 bar. But that would cost 6 credits. Prob best to somehow get a PCM with a convertable file. There must be a list somewhere.

I bet that tune works fine.
That would be a good map sensor.
I see tick gives the linear and offset.
You need a pigtail to wire it in.
And you need the latest version of HPT software so you can enter the neg offset.

Good luck!

the efi source 3 bar works awesome. i have a stock cam that obviously runs about as much vacuum as you can get and i have zero tuning issues in high vacuum or idle.

That old style 3 bar block map sensor from efi source will not read below 40 kpa and the spec sheets for those 80's era sensors show an 8% varience, that's a lot. You asked for the best and picked the cheapest.
