Its not Ideal but I wouldnt say horrid, depending on the setup. Ideally you would want it right at the end of the bend . Or at least put a 45 degree on it so it flows into it.

More about the setup> Engine/WG Size/Trubo etc.

Thats why I am posting, IMO the WG should be twisted around more to be parallel with inlet pipe. However, this seems like it should work?

Curious cause the car is apart and I could potentially change things.

it should still work....its just not "Ideal"
but if for some reason it just doesnt provide the relief you need... then just step up to the next size bigger on the wastegate

if its in an ideal placement, you can get away with a smaller sized WG valve...
if its not very ideal, you can band aid it by using a bigger WG valve

for some people, and some kits.... the problem becomes physical placement is done in the only way they can fit it...
if you can re-position it... do it now while its out...

it works really good to basically move it so that if the curved section was not there, it would just be a straight pipe with a wastegate on the end...imagine the wastegate as an extension of the straight part of the pipe in the bottom

or, if you just look at my picture in the earlier post, the upper right hand corner...with the "good flow"
swap the turbo and the WG in that picture.....pretend that pipe is your pipe...

Nah I get what you are saying and it agrees with my thought before I posted. WG should be tangent to bend.
