Default T trim in place of S trim Vortech?

Just wondering if a T trim blower will fit in the same bracket as a S trim blower. On Vortechs site it shows them having the same overall dimensions so I'm thinking it's kinda like the P1SC and D1SC where they have the same dimensions and fit in the same bracket.

Anyone know?

Thanks

No, you would need custom brackets the T Trim is bigger than the G Trim that comes in the standard LS1 kit. A few places can make custom brackets.

Damnit John, where did I say G trim???

I said can a T trim replace a S Trim. The truck kits come with the S trim so I was thinking the T trim could be a blower upgrade for those kits.

I think that you still need to open up the bracket to upgrade to a T Trim, ask jsnee@vortechsuperchargers.com for info.

Just searching around a bit it seems some of the C5 guys might have replaced the S trim blowers in there kits with T trims so it looks possible.

Gonna go look some more.

PSJ - When you hear from John be sure to update this thread please. It certainly seems like it will fit from what people are saying but, no one is talking about a truck bracket either so.....

Thanks

I talked to John.

I guess in your email you were more asking about a custom setup.

The T and S Trims are externally the same size, but the volute is bigger on a T Trim. So you can make it work with a little work.

Yeah, I was kinda asking about getting a partial Vortech setup but, my main question was whether the T trim would fit in the bracket.

Thanks for finding out John, I appreciate it.
