Probably already are aware of it considering you already purchased them, but those turbos will require modifications to fit on the kit. Those S300's are a different frame than the standard T4's from Turbonetics, Precision, Comp, etc. They will put the downpipes in a different location due to their different frame which will throw off your down pipe fitments.

Speed Inc recommended a cometic .040 head gasket and said it would put me at about 9.75:1. He said ls9 gasket would put me close to 9.5:1. Should I go with the cometic? Would the bump in comp. help with the turbos spool? Does that comp. sound right ?
347, -11 wiseco pistons, callies compstar rods, stock crank, Prc 225cc heads with 62cc chambers...
Whatever boost psi it takes to reach 850whp..

Cut the core support underneath and notched it to for the radiator cap. Made little brackets out of the core support to hold the bottom of the radiator. Top fits underneath a lip I left on core support. Rough placement, I will take pics of it done as other looks better now.

2 Derale 16925 fans like a lot of people run.

Painting engine bay since almost that far anyways, why not. Unfortunately buddy that paints isn't available so used rattle cans...

347, 9.57:1, Arp head/main, ect. Hope other holds 850whp. Was told wouldn't be a problem at all.

What size rad did you use? Also what brand? I want to do the same thing and tuck it inside the core support. Makes a little more room up front

Can anyone tell me where you put your fuel filter, any photos of routing your fuel system? <br/>Also How did you install your fuel pressure gauge? I have a Hobbs on there, do I use a different location on the fpr?

So might of ran into big problem... Does the picture of the head I put on here look like a stock head? They are supposed to be Prc 225cc heads. All casting number stamped areas have been polished flat, and they don't have the extra bolt hole flanges as I see on Google..???

Those are the exact same turbos I have on a 6.0. They spool pretty good, heres what I wrote in another thread

I have an LQ4 with an LS9 cam, no intercooler and blow through setup with a T10 transmission (clutch). It is 91 octane gasoline. With two 60mm S300 with 68mm turbine and .91 ar turbine housing, in top gear the log shows boost under the carb as

3lbs at 3000 25* timing 11.0 afr

5lbs at 3350 22* timing 11.0 afr

Even though it probably doesn't matter, you can get the .88 open housing off eBay for $120 shipped for both total. It just annoyed me a little being split for no reason.

Good to know man, can't find any info from people on them. He did tell me with the twin scroll it is more like having . 83ar which helps out a little. I'm only on a 347. Planning 20# give or take. 900whp or so. Just a weekend cruiser that I want to be able to hit 9's on track day.
What was your Max psi? Hp?

Side note: the heads I bought from a member (won't mention unless goes bad) are not as he advertised. They are some sort of stock head ported by unknown source. Now I'm dealing with getting a refund and buying the head thought I was getting, had my motor setup to that cc.

I havent dynoed this setup yet, before this I had a single PT7675 and these pull better up top, I guess more turbine helps.

How about the spool difference? My only worry was it being laggy (didn't want instant spool tho either), I gave the guy my goals and he didn't even hesitate to tell me to run these. Also said they would hit 900 easy.

Yeah you'd think the worst 60's on the planet would make 900whp on an LS1 so I wouldn't worry about that. The compressor map shows about 106# of air at 20psi and 70% efficency. These spool pretty good, they are barely behind the single PT76 on my setup, about 200rpm spool difference roughly.

That is a sick looking setup. I love the way twins look when they're mounted like that.
