Thanks alot! It's been a learning experience with the hydroboost stuff, it was getting tempting just to throw the vaccum booster back on it, but in the grand scheme of things I'm glad I made it work

Well, let me bring something to the table!
This is a simple, solderless way to boost your tach signal

Parts

Slip heat shrink over resistor

Couldnt get any clearer, slip ends of heat shrink inside splice crimp

Signal wire jumped over to 12v power to the tach

So did some more work to the shifter, added a momentary botton for the tow haul

Wires were already under the carpet

Button installed

Yea, a friend of mine posted it, he has the red twin turbo colorado, sweet little truck, I'm not on any social media exept tech lol!

I don't know a thing about tuning, and he was kind enough to help me get it going on a base tune, but it has some idle issues and trans shifting stuff to be worked out, I'm hoping to take it to daytona for the turkey run, so we'll see

Its so fun to hear the turbo noises that shouldn't come from this car lol

I'm interested in the meth kit . Does it have its own map sensor ? Or does it just need a boost / vacuum line from manifold? I'm thinking of getting the same one and replacing my boost gauge with the vc50 controller .

This one uses a tiny vacuum line to the manifold, just seemed like the easyiest way to go

It's very simple to install, and the gauge is very easy to set up/make changes.
Im very anxious to get it into use=)

Crude, yes.

Works, flawless

Finally got the gas pedal hooked up instead of having to hold it and operate the cable by hand...........

What's the width on those rear tires? That skirt is a bit of a concern for anything wider.
