Amazing how that big of a wheel makes that big of brakes look so small!

Yea, kind of a bummer, really takes away from "wow" factor of the larger brakes.....
But I got to tell ya, I was leery about losing the caddy's massive rear drums, but hopefully these will fill the shoes (pun intended)

Not that I'll miss the drums, just the sheer size / slow down from ludicrous speed that they performed lol

Really tempting to stick shrader valves in the bags and a vise grip on the rear brake line and go for a ride...........i just worry about falling off the milk crate I'd be sitting on.......

Looking good! I can't believe the work you are putting in. Gotta get this baby back on the road. Every time I go down to Sarasota I wonder if I will see this car cruising around lol.

Youtube "blown ranchero" and look for the one by 1badd41. That is all the joyriding I wanted to do on a milk crate, thanks. Too many hours invested to fall off and screw it up, lol.

I did the milk crate seat myself once. Just once.

Almost wound up in the back seat. Never again.

It's done and definitely sketchy even with a seat. I have to wonder if yours will be with the added weight and modern suspension. Probably be doing sideways burnouts with two fingers on the wheel! jealous...
