Be conservative on your tune. We built a 63 nova ten years ago with stock casting l92. Couldn’t keep the head down at higher boost levels. Never figured it out. But we Didn’t put much time into trying to come up with a solution to that issue because we ended up leaning on it at the track one day and torched a head (maybe a couple months after finishing the build too). Already had Mast heads on the way though. Just a heads up cuz that was my experience with GM l92s with boost

They are another learning experience....
So.... i changed to a wilwood manual pedal, so i now have
7 to1 pedal ratio, of course had to make another braket to to hold brake switch, no biggie.
i like that ive reduced some clutter under the hood, but the jury in still out on if ill truly be happy with the performance of them compared to the hydro boost set up, but im willing to try. The pedal feel and effort i am fine with, just need a little more fluid to the fronts.
Old pile of parts....
Im still trying to dial in correct master cylinder, getting close.

Dave has been a wealth of information for me. Even though he hasnt sold anything, he has spent alot of time explaining and reccomending parts that will work for my hodgepodge setup.
Check out his website.

I hardly remember what I ate for breakfast! Lol. Setup was a SBE lq4 with the L92 heads... blow through carb with front mounted dizzy. I don’t believe we ever made it north of 20psi on the L92 heads.
oo thanks for that. Got manual brakes on my new project and I’m so lost with brake setups. Poor guy gunna get hit with all kinds of questions from us 😂

So, i upgraded form the dual walbro 225's to dual aem 400's
To accommodate the swap, i had to put new terminal ends on the wiring to fit the bigger terminal lugs on the pumps, had to make a new line from the tank to the filter for one of them, and am currently waiting on a new braket to hold them in place.
there is an option for metric fittngs or, orb fittings,(-10 inlet/-6 outlet). I chose the orb and got new fuel filters that have orb -10 in/out and joined pump and filter with same size fitting.
The new twins, 400 lph aem's
Old vs new

Does the Caddy even hook the tires? I figured it would spin at will and thereby reduce the load on the trans. Don't forget to clean your trans cooler and lines out thoroughly after that mess. Beat on it, break it, fix it and repeat!
