So here's a little more progress, both manifolds are passenger side truck, both have a small section of schedule 40 pipe grafted on and a 2 1/4" vband welded on. I cut all peices, but take no credit for welding, because, well ......my welding sucks.
Only about 40ft of heat wrap.....

So, here's today's progress, cooling system almost done , still have to install overflow bottle and connect steam tube lines, I added rears .
The radiator is a 31" cross flow from speedway motors, the fans are lt1 fans from a camaro and fill the core area great! I made all the brakets, and they turned out amazingly well lol!
There is room between intercooler and rad for ac condenser for future ac install

Haha! Yup! Was always part of the plan, I learned the fixed displacement comprossors like come in the vans, and I believe most trucks work well with aftermarket ac systems. I think I mentioned in a earlier post that I now have all the room in the world to keep the stock low mount comprossor , was gonna have to ditch the low mount with the caddys stock frame, another win for crown vic front! Now it goes in and out no prob, Like I do just for fun lol! I love riding with all the windows down and 99.999% of the time I do, but dang it it sometimes you need some ac on with the windows down too lol

Thanks, only place where real estate is scarce is where I want to put the turbo, the hinges are massive that hold this 300lb hood up and are also connect to the 55 gal drum of wheel wells I have, (I have visions of the hood coming down and loping my body in two, so I won't be removing any of that stuff......) I will be making some Mods to the lower portion of the wheel well to fit the turbo where I want maybe I start on that in the next couple of days, I really want to see it in its final placement.

So today and yesterday was mostly spent installing tranny cooler and lines, modified where the license plate used to go, eventually maybe I'll do some kind of grille or cutout in its place. I originally didn't want to put anything in front of the intercooler but I think this is aceptable.
Brakets I made

Looks great! Watch the china drilled rotors carefully, they crack out if your hard on the brakes. This was from was from slowing my car down from 155 or so at the track. And that caddy weighs what 2 of my rx-7 does! Went with a plain jane non-drilled rotor and had no more issues.

I'll keep an eye on them, I've had good luck with the rotors from max brakes witch is a company out of Canada, and thought they were made there too....website doesn't say where they're made, just says the factory they are made in adheres to "bla, bla, bla, standards".......guess that means "China" lol!

Figured I would show my hotside insulation, gonna wrap the downpipe also, just to keep heat out of the car. Also have some heat shield tape for anything that's close to hot stuff.
Turbo blanket looks more like a diaper for diarrhea apocalypse. .......
Both mani's, first and prob last time I wrap......

One of the first cars I bought was a 77 cope deville, was in mint condition, 68k miles had a cb radio and coilover shocks and I paid 800 bucks for it (dis a burnout on the church sidewalk that you can still make out to this day)..... been hooked ever since=)
