I think tomarrow I play around a little more with turbo placement, I think the next thing to do will be to make a braket to support the turbo so I can mock up hotside. It's deff staying by firewall and twords the pass side . This is the part I've been waiting for!

So I ran the garden hoses to the back of the caddy and now it's time to tackle this project I've been avoiding. ......a previous owner had made a "repair" in the trunk floor and cut out the bracing along with the pan, so once the fuel tank and various 1×4's were removed, the floor was pretty "floppy " no environment for a fuel cell.....

So the plan is to build mounts off the cars frame to support the fuel cell, and then use a sheet of aluminum for the new floor.
I'll keep it removable /hinged so can have easy access to the pumps and filters that will be back there also.

Here is what I'm thinking: fuel cell will be sunk in the floor, fuel pumps and filters mounted off frame, (under car of course) and the battery box will on left side of trunk above the pumps, nice short harness with relays in the battery box. Only wiring to the front of car should be the hobbs switch ground and relay trigger wire from pcm

So here's some fuel plumbing and the boost reference manifold block

Boost gauge sending unit underneath

Fuel press sending unit will go to a pillar muted triple gauge set that will all be digital =)

And the trunk all spray bombed out, don't want to get too carried away with trunk area, it will have some "mods" goin on next year, phase 2

Hopefully I can still fit the fuel cell........

Well got fuel system all plummed in, just have to do the wireing end of things

So, it's -6 out of both outlets of fuel cell, then to stainless mesh filters, then directly to walbros, then goes into dual -6 to single -8 y block, then to another -8 filter, then upto the reg.

I know, I know, I need some shake down time too. Now that I think about it, I'll need to put the power steering and hydroboost lines on first......

So, back in town, dine a few more odds and ends to the car, I finally have a 100% complete cooling system! I've connected the front and rear steam tubes, not pretty, but will do the job. I ended up drilling and tapping the waterpump for the steam tube inlet, and just looped the heater hose ports for now.
I added the overflow bottle today , just a cheap thing from napa, made a simple little braket to mou t it.

Also in these pics the cold side from intercooler to throttle body is done! Blowoff valve is actually mounted instead of held up by block of wood lol!

Very clean routing. I guess it helps to have all that space. Great work. Thanks for the update.
