Wow thats quite the list for a poor college kid. You can save yourself and get this done a lot quicker. Ill list my recomedations below but I will first ask what your goal is for the truck?

Drivetrain:
370ci. Iron Block
Dragon Slayer Crank, Callie's Ultra I-Beams, Wiseco Pistons -USE A STOCK CRANK
PRC 237cc Heads w/ .675" PRC EHT Springs
Custom Ground Cam, spec'd by Martin at Tick Performance
Comp 3/8", .080" Wall Pushrods
Morel Link-Bar Lifters-RUN STOCK LS7 LIFTERS, NO NEED FOR AFTERMARKET
Yella Terra 1.7 Rocker Arms-RUN STOCK WITH TRUNION UPGRADE. AFTERMARKET WILL PROBABLY CAUSE VALVE FLOAT AND ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
C7R Timing Chain
Melling High Pressure Oil Pump
Cometic .060" Head Gaskets-USE STOCK LS9 GASKETS, LOTS OF PEOPLE HATE COMETICS. MINE LEAKS COOLANT, LS9 ARE $50 AND HOLD UP TO 1000HP
ARP Main studs, head studs, connecting rods, etc.
Meziere Electric Waterpump-NO NEED AT ALL, STOCK PUMP IS FINE.NOT WORTH IT FOR 2HP MORE.
92mm Holley Hi-Ram-LOOKS COOL BUT AN LS6 CAN DO OVER 1000HP EASY.
92mm Nick Williams DBC Throttle Body-STOCK WILL DO THE JOB TOO.
ATI Balancer

Turbo Goodies:
Twin Turbonetics Billet Wheel 69/68's, journal bearing, .81 A/R
Two 50mm Synapse Wastegates
50mm Tial BOV
Two in, single out A2W Intercooler-A GOOD AIR TO AIR IS EASIER
Mighty Mouse Catch Can
E-Boost2 Boost Controller

Fueling:
E85
RCI Fuel Cell
Holley Dominator 200GPH Fuel Pump
1500cc DeatschWerks Injectors-DAMN WHAT KIND OF POWER YOU GOING FOR?
Aeromotive Pro-Series Fuel Regulator
AEM Water/Meth Injection

Gearing:
Built 4L80
Built 9.5" 14 Bolt SF Rearend
Eventually Bogarts on a 29" Drag Radial

I know it seems a bit crazy and overkill, but I'm looking to put 1,200-1,300 horse to the ground. I know it's a lot of money, and especially in my position, but this has been my dream setup for years and I want to do it right from the get-go. Aesthetics are also a big deal to me, I like my stuff clean, so there's my reason for the cool stuff. I'll try and pick up a lot of stuff used, what's reasonably reusable. I thought Cometics were the best of the best? Interesting to know..

I know it'll help a lot from a dig, but I don't know of anyone beefing up these front diff.'s, nor the CV Axles. Obviously there's stuff for the 1,500lb-ft Duramax's, but I'm not sure if I can get anywhere with my diff. setup.

Uh.. It appears our college budgets were MUCH different. This still looks like my dream build 5 years later. Then came reality, it's a bitch.

It's not easy. Piece by piece. I'm not planning on having it done anytime soon, I want to do it right from the start, and not be pulling my motor out when I have money to build it right afterwards. Just builds to the suspense
