Had the same issue and ended up using a stock unmodified LS2 water pump.

I had the same issue.
Had them send me a pump with the pulley pulled out .100" less.
I don't know why Aster thinks he needs to pull the pulley out that far.

I sent Chris a link to this thread. There are times when it appears these cars weren't built on an assembly line, as sometimes all the allowed tolerances stack up against you. Normally the distance Chris moves the water pump pulley works out just fine, it's a real pain for our customers when it doesn't work out.

Amir, let me know what you end up with, and if you need to send back the pump. Thanks. Bob

Amir, like Bob said sometimes the various tolerances stack against us. This is a lot more than usual though. Can you do me a favor and find out the measurement from the edge of the main belt to the spot on the water pump pulley were it rounds over to the front face. I don't think I've ever seen an F-Body that should work with an unmodified ls2 pump because it would put the belt over than rounded edge and cause it to walk off when the engine started. If in your case there is enough room we can send an unmodified pump if you can send this one back to me.
