Default Opinions on 5.3 Nova build

I have a 5.3L LM7 with 40K miles, only mods are a TSP 224R cam which is .581/.581 on a 112lsa, PAC 1518 springs, TSP push rods, double roller & LS6 ported oil pump.

I'd like to throw a Denmah special on there and am wondering if I can use the motor as is or should I swap the cam out while the motor is out on a stand. Not looking to make crazy power, 600-650hp would do. Any other mods to the heads or motor I should do now?

This is going in a 65 Nova, haven't seen too many 1st gen Nova turbo builds, should be fun.

Here is how I found the car a few years back. A few progress pics as I went along.

Car looks great man! As far as the motor goes I would run it as is. Is that cam perfect for what you wanna achieve. No it's not. Will it work yes, and I think you will be surprised how well it will do.

Put a 76 MM turbo on it and your will make your power goals.
Leave the motor as is other then tossing in a set of cheap head studs.
Hell, you would be fine even without the studs at 650 HP but you will want to turn it up...

A few more updated pics. Went with head studs, BTR .660 spring kit and made the engine look pretty

So I need some advice from the turbo guys, I really have gone this far without butchering anything on the car, I'd like to do the same to the front and run with no intercooler. I know it's not ideal but I also know it's feasible and I have E85 locally.

With my setup, a 4L80E with 3200 stall, anyone have a decent inexpensive turbo they recommend?
