Chevy k5 aka raptor killer
I live around the ford plant in clay come mo which means I constantky see fing Raptors. I have a lifted k5 86 on 37s 6 in lift with a 502 now and it's fun I always win with spray through. So i wanna yank the bbc out even thoug I love a cammed bbc sound and power for a Lsx swap. My two choices that I've built are a 6.0 ly6 I've tapped the mains for oil squirters lsa rods stock crank and Pistons with gapped hell fire rings arp head studs and mains and rod bolts ported ls3 heads with a ported lsa blower with a 102 snout a ctsv lid with a spacer 2.4 upper a stock ctsv lower with a ls9 cam a btr .660 springs. Should be around 14psi will be running e85. Or I have a 5.3 stock crank and pistons lsa rods oil squirters installed hell fire rings gapped arp everything 243 heads ported with a tbss truck intake 90mm ported with a tu1 cam and a turbonetics 76mm t4 .96ar journal bearing. My Trans is a built 700r4 373s 10 bolts with Detroit lockers and the axles are aftermarket and completely built lock outs. Which would be the better choice? I do tow my twin turbo Trans am with it time to time and take it trailing and to the sand dunes

They are all built to the max I've had it lift on 2 wheels with a healthy 200 shot on the 502bbc. Which is a torque monster so my Trans and axles are good moser Axels welded tubes that's reinforced and braced I'm good just needing help on which motor is the smarter choice

Cool build!! And I love how you taking full advantage of using mostly GM engine parts!!

I would think the blower option would be better for a few reasons. Blowers just seem to have way less maintenance/issues. Low end torque beneficial for towing, and also for wheeling. Throttle equals instant torque/power. vs even seconds of lag in turbo setup
