If the steam vents are the only issue ..... You hit a home run.
I like your cam choice, the 12* of overlap sounds wicked. I'm excited for your summer to come. T tops off & boost in the wind !!
Enjoy.
There are a bunch of things i need to do before I can drive her, but at least I know she's running. Took 3-4 tries to get the startup to learn, but once it did, it fired right up and idled great. I have the idle at 800 in this video and it sat there without a hiccup.

I can't believe more guys aren't running this setup, especially with all the high hp guys. Not everyone wants to deal with cutouts, so this is a better flowing system that bolts in like a factory catback.
Did you modify your Y-Pipe so it's 3.5" from the Y right through the catback, or did you utilize the reduced section?

That's the issue I'm working on now. I notched the bottom of the radiator tray, and installed the truck hat and the radiator fan shroud. Well, the hat was pressing against the shroud, so as the motor moved, it was shaking the entire car. I plan to cut a hole in the shroud and trim back the hat about 1/4-3/8".
I'm also glad I didn't install the new belt yet either. I had put the two shims behind the blower pulley just like I did on my D1SC, but it pulled the belt towards the block and ate up the first 2 ribs of the belt.
It's the little things that need to be done now. After a rough day yesterday with not being able to keep it running, today was a great day. For the first time in almost 7 months, I drove the car off the lift and around the block.
I was able to wash it today as well..... great day.
( outside of us motor heads) must laugh at us .... But We understand.
IT WAS A GOOD DAY !
It will run smoothly soon enough.
