Was the first fire on open headers? I'm confused as to why the F1A whine was quiet. hard to gauge volume level on a video.

How loud is the catback? I just bought Kooks TD's for my 402 F1A but it might be loud for my taste... if so I'll probably replace the muffler sections with magnaflows.

The first fire was with the catback on, but I didn't have any clamps on it at all. It's loud, but it's not rediculous. I also didn't have any pipes coming out of the muffler, which helps to direct the sound out the rear rather than the way it was in the video.

Car gets inspected tomorrow, since it was due in November, then I can start to break in the motor and put some miles on it. A quick shakedown run yesterday and I saw 6.8psi at 3800rpm at 80% throttle, and it felt great. The down low throttle response and torque is really nice. Displacement, with boost, is a great combo.

Thanks. I have some adjustments I need to make on the exhaust to line up everything, but other than that, I need to put some miles on it. The hardest thing is keeping the rpms down since I have old gas in the car and a brand new clutch.

Thanks. I plan to have a bunch of stuff powder coated a satin black, as well as paint the intake satin black as well.
