The port is on carb hat...is the opening to small...The hesitation is when is going into boost some time It pull like a freight train some time it hesitates?? I was wondering if the small opening in the port could be causing it to not to get enough psi & fuel from the regulator causing the hesitation ?
BTW: see you from Las Cruces New Mexico ...I have friends that stay there .

The tube looks large enough for a fuel regulator. If it was a waste gate or bov it might cause a hesitation in there operation because of how large a diaphragm they have but a fuel regulator is usually a much smaller diaphragm So it will work fine.what are you using for ignition? Could be a carb thing. does it run better after you have got in to it a few times.

What does your wide and say when it stumbles? Reference line should be fine. Car wouldn't stumble if it was too small until it sucked the float bowls dry. What does your timing do when boost comes on?
