Just got home from the shop actually. Tim (our Project Engineer with the TT C5) and I were there fabbing up the intake system for the TT F-Body. As a little teaser, the IC is a true front mount design (so it doesn't block the radiator in any way) and this system leaves the factory windshield washer in place, as well as incorporates a chrome moly K-Member using "top secret" motor mounts and weighs only 19lbs. This is a very trick system, IMHO. And in it's base form will support a true 1200fwhp with only fuel system upgrades necessary above 900fwhp.

Jay - Trust me...Lingenfelter SS will definitely be "packing" when he gets his car back.

Just so you all don't get your panties bunched, I don't think Rob ever specified a twin kit-only for sale like he did with his single kits... so right now I think it's easy to assume that if you want a twin, you'll need to drop your car off at his shop for install.

Rob, thanks in advance for the call monday. I'll be waiting by the phone. lol.

Sounds like a sweet kit. I'll be interested to hear more about the details. Is this a replacement for the log style single turbo? Good luck with your progress Rob.

Now, I know I'm new here, but I've done some searching, and I've never really understood why everyone always gave Rob hell. He's done a lot of work and not really gotten much thanks for itI found his site before I found this one and I read every single detail from the journals about his turbo cars. I just wanted to say thanks to Rob for going through all the R & D to put this stuff together. A real good twin setup would be inspiring. I've always wanted to do twins on my car but I don't have the $$$ (being 18). Will you be offering a twin kit and will it be street legal? By chance could you run like 8 psi on the street with still insane horsepower, then get to the track and run 16-20 psi and put out 1200 to 1300hp? I'm sure you can do this with your single setup but passing the sniffer is a big deal down here...

There's just SOMETHING about a Twin-Turbo that puts shivers up and down my spine.

From what I understand, it wasnt worth the hassle of making hardly any profit off the kit (7k most people wont pay that much) and from what I understand Rob will still sell you one, just that you need him to install it. Guess the only way he's going to make a real profit is off labor (I dont blame him)

I love how on the silver camaro, you cut the SLP grill so you could see and so the IC got nice fresh air. It would be cool to incorporate that on the new packages
