Default QMP turbo customers inside...

Since we're not on topic anywhere else, I'll create us a new thread.

Rob, please tell us a little more about your project, how did GM find you to sponsor your latest project? I know it's been in the works for a while now (at least since you showed me the setup in march) but I didn't know GM was backing it. Are they providing the motor, is that it? Sounds cool... as for a guess... mmmm. 900 rwhp before you turn up the boost. hehehhe.

I find it hard to post here, as it seems I'm always saying the wrong thing, and nobody else is.

Anyway, we have a car in-house right now that we are doing. It has a fully race built C5R motor, complete with custom sheetmetal intake, etc. The compression was lowered as well to help with the custom twin turbo setup we're doing on it. I'm not at liberty to say anymore about it than that. They want to unvail it to the media next month first. But after that, we'll post development pics, dyno numbers, etc. I believe we are actually going to end up doing three of these cars for them (all identical).

Oh yea, I forgot to mention...it IS an F-Body.

After that, we'll release our production twin turbo kits for the F-Bodies.

Lingenfelter SS - For some odd reason, I think you'll get a close up and personal of the kit pretty soon. I still need to call you. (how was the big island??) We also need to settle on a badge for your car...something like, QMP TT850 #002?

02Blue - I'll give you a call on Monday with a progress report.

Thanks guys!

Rob, the badge has a nice tone too it (leave room for ur autograph too ) . Cant wait to hear the details on this bad boy. Call me anytime. Surprised you have enough time to even type w/ all this going on. But thanks for doing it.
Big island was nice thanks. Had the enjoyment of renting a 04 SRT Viper for the day to cruise around the island .The push start and the conv. was a kick. Better mannered car then a GTS I would say (Rented a 02 GTS last time there).
