Bosch 044 pre filter?
Bosch 044 pre filter? I'm going to be running dual 044s on E85. Does anyone pre filter these pumps? I know they have a screen, so I was thinking of just post filtering. Let me know if you do and what filter you use. Thanks

For a long time I only had a single 100 micron Aeromotive before both pumps again never any problems ( tank only has a single outlet )
Some injectors can be very fussy about filtration though, so that may force you to use an additional filter. Although with something like the decent sized Holley or Aeromotive type filters, I wouldnt see any issues running a 10 micron in front of the pump and none after
As the filter will be gravity feed I'd definitely choose a high flow item with good capacity and not something small and shitty. I see pictures of people using really small filters intended for a carb application, which is mental considering the volumes of fuel that move in an EFI system.
There is never anything bad about oversizing a filter, especially when there is nothing pushing fuel through it. EFI pumps do not suck well
