Default Hopefully the weather holds and I can try the nitrous tonight.

Finally got the roll bar the other day and got the car back together. Car has been sitting since I kind of wore out my welcome at all the tracks around here under 200 miles away having no roll bar and all

Put a Wolfe 5 point moly bolt in bar in, except for taking a month to get its a really nice bar. Took about 5 hours total to install it, fell right in. I weighed it at 52lbs for everything so thats not bad.

Took off the cat back (55lbs), front bumper support and ABS (28lbs) but added 52lbs for the roll bar and 30lbs for the n20 bottle. On the scales yesterday with the pass seat out it was flickering between 3499 and 3500 with me in it (220lbs).

Also replaced the 10.5x27x15 ET streets with a set of 9x28x15 ET drags and finally screwed the rims. If it doesnt rain tonight I'll hit a local 1/8 mile track and if everything works OK I'll got to bowling green saturday if it doesnt rain. Spraying a 75 shot until 6000rpm and the car feels awesome - hopefully I can see some 1.4x 60 foots..

Supposed to rain tonight so I may just hit BG tomorrow, even if it runs well in the 1/8 I will still go to BG tomorrow anyhow so I may as well wait. With gas being as expensive as it is its going to cost me 100.00 just to get back and forth to BG

Good luck, kp. It seems like your stuff always gets the job done. You keep it relatively simple and you get really great results.

I should have went tonight, no rain but my wife decided she wanted a dog today - long story but I picked up a shih tzu puppy off the side of the road almost dead from the heat, took it in for a few days and brought it back to life. Once it was OK I brought it to the shelter and thought that was the end of it but my wife fell in love with the thing when it was here and now I have a dog.. Didnt know anything about it until I was going to put the car on the trailer..

Looks like bowling green tomorrow, better off anyhow since no one cares about 1/8 mile times anyhow

We have a 13 year old Shih-Tzu. That stinky bastard will never die.

Just don't let other larger animals squeeze their (Shih-Tzu's) heads b/w their jaws b/c it increases intracranial pressure and their eyes literally will pop out of their orbital fossa.

Don't ask me how I know.

I'm more worried about my 18 month old son killing it.. I had a shih tzu when I was younger for 15 years, great little dog but so far its rough here with the kids. I may have to give it to my parents.
