20lbs but there was nearly no gain from 15-20lbs so converter is struggling that whole time or there is something else struggling, but, if i added timing or boost it would just come up to the rev limiter faster and put down less mph.

feels like converter is struggling to me haha

i probably will not change the converter because i dont see this platform ever being able to use as much power as it has currently.

i dont plan on back halfing it and making it wheelie 1.20 60fts, i just wanna ease it out and try and put down what i have without rev limiter etc

no safety equipment also so i cant go very fast at all without severely pissing people off, wich seems to be my job at the track

Thats awesome i didnt think you would go crazy and get a new converter but couldnt hurt to ask lol congrats again cant wait to see what itll run at the track if they dont kick you out after the first pass you might have to find track rentals to go too or put a cage in it either way should be fun

So 730s on 14lbs what boost were you at on the peak power pull?

Can you toss some hygard or similar tractor fluid in to tighten it up a bit? Stuff is cheap and seems to hold up to heat better than most ATF anyway IMO.

What converter is that again? Isn't that basically the same converter you used in........hmm, something else, maybe Fairmount 4 or 5? Or the white torquemonster?

Hygard can get kind pricey. Depending on how thrifty you want to be... Last time I was in Costco they had the 5 gal buckets of premium tractor fluid that meets the J-20c requirements Hygard does for $50. Ends up being about 2.50 a Qt!

I will be curious to hear your feedback regarding idle quality, drive-ability and your take on if these injectors are "highly affected by fuel temperature", and if so, what exactly you see happening.

As always, thanks for testing these 160's

currently not seeing any of the side affects
will drive for 2 hours strait one day and get fuel warmed up. if it even does and see what happens.

but if you are boiling fuel i dont think any injector is going to help lol

Matt if you had come across a GTO in the junkyard and had a choice between the LQ4 shortblock and the LS2 shortblock (and use 317 heads on both), would you take the 1/2 point of extra compression and the 80lb weight savings or would you rather have the iron block at your power levels?
