Twin turbo LSX Factory Five GTM, first fire (video )
So after 14 months, the car finally started for the first time. The car originally had a stock 02 LS1, Porsche transaxle. Did 333hp to the wheels.
Now the car has an LSX376, twin 6266 turbos, Precision 46mm wastegates and a pair of 64mm blow off valves, Lingenfelter intercooled intake, all custom piping done by me, fabricated and tacked, then final welding done by a local guy. All of this mated to a Lamborghini transaxle.

And yes, I'd love to get a pair of symmetrical turbos, but since Nelson Racing is so terrible at their customer service, I won't be giving them any money any day soon.

I am shooting for 1000whp on the dyno at least once, then I'll dial it down to 600'ish for normal driving. It'll only see the higher power when I'm taking it to racing events.

I bought the car already built and running. I also heard about the horror stories of getting the body done correctly, doors to work correctly, etc. I also found a deal that I could not have built a GTM for what I bought the complete one for. I literally rebuilt the entire drivetrain, made a new subframe, rewired the entire back half of the car, etc. Having done that, I do think I would have gone with the SLC if I were to build it completely.

I have not settled on the heat exchanger setup yet. I have the lines coming out of the intake, but trying to decide on a heat exchanger or going to something like a "Killer Chiller" setup.

There is obvious the front area but also the side pods. Then if you wanted to get creative you could do some lambo style rear mounted rads that take air from the rear wheel wells / scoops above the wheels.
With it being mid engine you are going to want the intake to run as cool as poss as its going to get hot in that engine compartment. Also might be wroth looking at getting the air out of the engine bay when at speed. The Ultima GTR and Noble M12 guys have done a lot of research into this (several Nobles have been in the wind tunnel). Let me know if you need any links.
