On3 ball bearing turbo, 75-80mm.
LS6 cam...? Why? Unless you already have it. But there's definitely better.
ARP hardware is nice, but expensive. Ebay studs do just fine.
80# injectors.
40+mm wastegate and blow off valve no matter what size turbo.
Biggest intercooler that will fit.

Save money where you can, like eBay studs and wastegate/ blow off valve, and spend it on a custom grind cam and a really good dyno tune.

Thanks guys for the input. So I decided to go with the On3 7875 turbo is this correct one:http://www.on3performance.com/shop/o...-turbocharger/

Also I think I might go with 80lbs injector in case I ever wanted to really turn it up.
So I had another question I plan to do a 102mm throttle body and I see the ones at Summit racing for like $300 and then I see the ones on ebay for like $150. Are the cheap ebay ones reliable to use and would any of you recommend using them. If so do you have a link of which one you prefer to use?
Also someone said use the ebay hardware (studs & Rod Bolts) do any of you guys have an link to that hardware that you have used on your builds

Okay down to the heart of the heart of the engine, We were going back and forth about cams. I mention an LS6 cam because I don’t want something so radical because mainly this will be a street driver. Got thing is I am using the hydro boost for my brakes so I don’t need vacuum. I just want something that will provide me a lot of low end torque to move my heavy chevy. Any suggestions on what type of cam? Specs & Make

I really appreciate the information that you guys are providing me this is really good stuff to hear from people that has already been through these builds.

I'm using a Tick stage 2 turbo cam in my '55 Chevy 210 project with a turbo 6.0

The stage 1 Tick sounds like it would be good for your combo. http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...1-ls6-engines/

So i heard that it good to use a splite duration for your cam considering its an heavy truck, That cam you sent me has the same int/ex duration. That works pretty good?

Okay, so once again thanks for the input from all of you. I finally pick a cam after speaking to numerous cam reps, I came up with Comp cam 212/218 115LS .558/.563.

Now I am going back and fourth after each other vender and after speaking to each vender they recommend the following turbo’s.

On3 67mm Ball bearing

Borg-Warner-S366-Turbo-S300SX3-66mm

I feel they may be too small if I would want to make 700hp to fly wheel with low boost, but I want something that spools up very quick considering it’s an heavy truck and I would like to auto cross it and take it on long *** drives without any issues.

Any suggestions on which turbo?
