You gonna wet sand it too? or call it good enough for a driver?
What did you end up painting it with? I'm guessing it is basecoat/clearcoat, but did you go PPG shopline or something more upscale?

They will look good with your car, I've been eyeing that set myself, hoping it might hook my car better on the street. I'm guessing you got the package deal, with the new wheels and tires? I'm sure you will still blow them off with that turbo set up though. I was just cruising today, a nice day about 60F, and at about 1/2 throttle and 70 mph, in 3rd gear, mine broke loose, as the turbo spooled up. Went to 160 kPa on the data log, and even that much boost was enough to break street tires loose. Not like it got way out of shape but I was countersteering to keep it in line. I'm thinking about the only way to hook these turbo cars on the street is with DOT legal race tires.

I also run the 295/55/15 MT SS at the track, and also to and from the track, I only live 4 miles away. I'm thinking of trying the 275/60/15 MT Pro next though, some people say they hook better. If I could get a lighter tire to hook better, I'm sure that would result in better et, and more MPH. Waiting to see pics of your new wheels on the car.
