Going to do the fuel system next weekend and try to pick up a ford 8.8 to swap in while the file tank is still out.

Anyone in the Houston area have a decent 4l80e they want to let go at reasonable price. People around here think they are gold and want 700-1000 for a 250,000mile pos.

Got the dual 450s installed today. It was much easier than I had anticipated, it's probably the easiest thing I've done this far on the car. Ill post some pics soon.

All I'm lacking is the y fitting and an 8an to npt adapter.

Really liking your build man, I'm getting some ideas for my own and have a question. Are you planning on mounting the turbo somehow or just leaving it hang off the manifolds? I've got a gt 45 and it's heavy as all hell, makes me nervous about not mounting it , that's why I ask... Thx looking good

Finally found a good deal on a 4l80e locally $400 delivered. It will be getting dropped off tomorrow so I'll try to get the engine and trans back in this week.

Tested the fuel system today. Seems to be working as it should, set the regulator to 60psi and also tested and rises as it should with boost. The walbro 450s are surprisingly quite as well.

So all I'm missing now is a harness, ecu, trans crossmember, injectors, and a shortblock. Hopefully I'll have time to do that stuff in the next few months, work has been very busy and I just havnt wanted to work on the car after working so much plus I have another fbody to paint for a friend so that will take up a lot of my free time.

Awesome progress, sir. The cerakote and wrap turned out very well. Keep it up man, this is still one of my favorite builds.

Maybe. I've seen hundreds of build with and hundreds without. Sometimes they have issues without the flex section but I've also see many that had no issues. If it does become an issue I'll add one.

Worst case, just crimp on the male/female disconnect insulated connectors. They are going to be on the interior.
