hey guys here couple pics of my new rear tire setup
18x12.5 vs 16x10
305 35 18 vs 315 45 16
i told myself i wasn't spending money on tires before the car made power lol . i came across a good deal on the 315s it was hard to pass up . hoping they dont rub too bad . the car will need to be raised up a bit in the back .
the latest update on the turbo setup is that its 97% done . only have two pipes to fab up for the down pipe . hoping to see the dyno sometime this month .

Hey guys here is the latest update
We finally made it to the dyno today
After fighting with my boost controller for an hour we came to a conclusion
I didn't wire it up right lol . We decided to make some pulls on gate only
The most we could get is 10psi we ended up with 745whp 800trq.
This was on pump and meth 91 oct and 14degrees timing
Also it was full boost at 3500rpm
I'm very happy with the first outing .hoping to head back in a couple weeks

Hey guys here is the latest update with the car. I told myself i wasnt changing anything on the exterior of the car until it was sorted out lol . Ive never been a fan of the silver stripes so we fixed that
ive been driving the car a couple times a week now . no overall big issue
im still running 15psi at 10.3 AFR and 10 degrees of timing (880whp 900trq) . waiting on some new drop spindles and weld wheels
ill have more updates when the new wheels are installed

Its actually not that bad . Hard on fuel tough lol
crazy thing it still pulls strong . I think its going to be a problem if
we ever figure out the sputtering problem and get to used 15psi 11.5 afr and 15 degrees timing . Tires will not be happy and traction will become not available lol .

Doing a simular set-up...what do you think?
I'm doing a similar set-up on my 1998 C5 Corvette... Since you have already done it I'd like to know how it rides and is it worth the large expense...
The following is my current situation:
a. Put a new Crate Engine (ERL 383 Stroker) about 10K miles ago. All internals hardened...
b. LS6 Heads (ported/polished...) / Comp Cam (Small Cam will work with force induction)
c. 3:43 Gears through an A4 Level VI Transmission (new 10K ago)
d. 2,800 stall
e. Fast 102mm Intake Manifold, fuel rails, and a Nick Williams 102mm Throttle body
f. E-85 Fuel System
Currently making 448 rwhp / 440 tq
My plan:
a. BorgWarner S480 (already purchased and at JMS Racing waiting for my turn at fabrication)
b. Will purchase the biggest Air Intercooler I can fit in the front of my radiator...JMS Racing will work that out and adjust my current radiator or put in a shorter radiator.
c. JMS Racing will fabricate the manifolds, piping, and the exhaust all the way out to the tail...
d. JMS Racing is going to fabricate the rest of the system...
I plan on doing about 14lbs of boost with this setup what type of power do you think I will get out of my C5?
Thanks!
Roger
