tipot single turbo C5 build LS7 S480 :) Hey guys finally have some progress with my new build .
I first got this car earlier this summer from my uncle . it was heavily modded when i bought it .A&A YSI kit with a fully built LS7 .Car had some solid power 854whp @16psi . Knowing i had all the supporting drivetrain mods to build a custom turbo kit made my decision easier when it came time to list the blower kit for sale
decide a couple months ago to part with the ysi kit and build what i always wanted . i had many turbo cars over the years and supercharged car are fun but just not the same for me . this is what we got done so far . kit is being built by a good friend of mine .
goals for now are 900whp on pump fuel . depending on traction maybe will change the turbo and let the LS7 EAT

borgwarner S480 T6
Prescision 66 wg
Tial bov
hooker truck manifolds
fluidampr crank pulley
custom Tick performance turbo cam

small dog big turbo
here are most of the parts that had to be bought .
first purchase was some hooker headers truck manifold . i got some v bands welded on the end
another important purchase was a custom cam from Martin at tick performance
more fab parts
here is pretty much the latest updated pic.
here is the latest updated picture with the downpipe . later this week .will be mounting the rad .

Down pipe is only 4 inches . Might have to build a cut out for it. Will wait and see how it works
Ccw are 18x11 and 18x12

Very nice, you will put down good numbers don't let anyone tell you it's too small for an ls7 mine made 837 on 6 psi with a billet S480.

my best pass was 10.86 @133mph . 1.66 60ft
i know what the new setup could run .but just not sure i want to break it at the track . will see how it performs on the street .

here is the latest update . the build is not really a priority we work on it a couple hours here and there . it was suppose to be a winter build lol
its coming along pretty good . ill be wrapping the complete hotside over the week end .
