Package #3 is good to about 700 rwhp depending on other mods. Nearly instant spool, however the 68mm turbine wheel on the TC78 will hold you back around 650-700 rwhp. If you want more than this or something more efficient in the upper RPM range, look to package #4 or #5 for a turbo with the larger 82/75mm turbine wheel.
Packages #4 and #5 will support and have made over 900rwhp on quite a few builds. The new Comp Turbo features the same, excellent flowing 82/75 turbine wheel as the comparable Precision and Turbonetics turbos, however they are the only one to couple in a Billet 78mm compressor wheel with it. We can put this on a .81, .96, 1.15, or 1.32 a/r housing to suit your goals as well.
We can substitute in Comp, Turbonetics and Precision Turbos and Components as well, PM or post up for a quote!
PM to purchase!

Thanks guys! Only 1 of these left, don't miss out! Looks like we may be bringing it back as a full time product, demand for a more budget based kit seems high.

I'm just starting the installation of my Truck Manifold V1 kit this weekend, most of my kit is here now, just waiting for the turbo. Since my car is a 'vert, and I turn the air on maybe once every other year or so, an A/C delete kit made sense for me. I was thinking of removing my A/C just for weight savings a couple years ago, I use it so rarely. My initial impression of the kit is very positive, it seems like a great quality kit. The welds on the hot side are all very good, the FMIC is massive, and looks efficient. Jon has been fantastic in answering my questions, and getting me on the right track.
I found some truck manifolds, and cleaned them up, I smoothed them out with a grinder and a flap wheel, rounded/blended off the mounts for the heat shields, and knocked down the casting seams. I was very careful not to reduce the wall thickness anywhere. They don't look quite as smooth as an Ed Brown 1911, but pretty decent. They almost look like shorty headers now. I sent them out to be ceramic coated, inside and out. The company I used quoted me $375, which I thought was a little steep, but I went for it anyways. I've used them before, and I know they do good work. I paid $80 for a nice set of manifolds, so with coating and shipping the manifolds, I'll have about $500 in them! I could have had a V2 kit with the headers for about $50 less, when you consider that Huron now throws in the oil lines, blanket and air filter with the V2 kits. It does really make the V2 kit look like a fantastic deal. To be honest though, I think the truck manifold kit with nice ceramic coated manifolds may work just as well as the V2 kit? It may have lower under hood temps, and the manifolds will flow well enough for my HP goals. I have no doubt about their durability, they should last forever.
I went with the TC78, I've not got it yet, and I'm already questioning if I should have went with a bigger turbine. The TC78 should support my HP goals but I'm reading here most people are going with the bigger 75mm on the turbine side. Maybe I'm reading too much! I hope I didn't make a mistake here. I can always upgrade the turbo I guess, if I need more.
It's exciting getting my first turbo kit, maybe I'll do pics and post a build thread? Thanks Jon and Huron Speed!
