Just got Vortech

I bought the 6-9lb kit with intercooler. I have LT's, offroad y-pipe and cut out, I was wondering how many hp and torque will I have with stock internals and bmr, lower control arms, panhard, and SFC's?, I forgot I also ordered 48lb injectors

Over 450rwhp I would say.

My friend Jeff has about the same set up that you have and dynoed 450rwhp and 420rwtq at 7# , I`m surprised that he has`nt replied.

the kit comes with 36 lb injectors and a t rex pump, there's no reason you should need 48 lb injectors.

cant you spin the vortech to like 15psi and make almost 600rwhp? I swear that I saw someone on here doing that

i've heard of guys pulleying down to get 12 lbs and they have achieved 600 rwhp, i'm sure they had heads/cam as well.

and on pump gas too.

well I have a low comp motor heads and cam and a fuel system so I am shooting for like 15psi, and hopefully 600 at the wheels through a th400 and a 12-bolt.

then a 100 shot on top of that

I did 575 at the wheels ran out of fuel @5400 will be going back with a MSD boosta pump and maybe a T-trim. I have never seen more than 7-8 # either? Vortech v9 g-trim kit.

That was probably me?

But it was 10lbs of boost. I do have stage II heads and 02 LS6 cam. But when I put on the heads, I didn't gain any power. It just dropped my boost from 13 lbs to 9lbs with the 2.75" pulley. Now I see 10 PSI with the 2.5" pulley.
I would keep the bigger injectors if you plan on pulleying down later.
