You don't see many of them because it's impossible to fit the thing under the cowl and hood, plus I'm pretty sure it's a pain in the *** fabricating everything in order to make it work.

The 2.9 should fit . If not there is always a 2in cowl hood . Main hurdle with my set up is moving the alt over to clear the throttle body and bypass valve

Do you know if you'll be running 5th gen Camaro offset or vette offset? I would suggest 5th gen. The tensioner design is much better. Also if you're looking for 5th gen accessories I have a spare set(alt, damper, ps, water pump and brackets). Running the 2.9 whipple on my TBSS and love it.

Pics? Boost? Pulley size? How many miles have you put on it? =Thinking about reliability. Thanks.

I can't run the 5 th gen accesorys . Steering box is right in the way . I'm going with the 2010 camaro off set since it's the same as the truck . Right now my accesorys look like this. Please post some pics of your set up

My set up now. Going with low mount pass side ac and maybe one of the brackets I posted . That's the plan anyway

If that's 5th gen/truck offset yea you should be fine. DBW or cable TB? Also what do you have planned for the AC? The whipple tensioner won't allow it to mount in that location.

You're set then. Now that I'm thinking about it. I sold a 2.3 maggie to a buddy. Talked him into buying the edelbrock ALT relocation bracket. Moved the alt out of the way and is running the maggie the way you need to. Let me look up that part number for you.

It's in a truck with truck spacing/same as 5th gen Camaro. Running a 5th gen Maggie 2300. The 2.9 whipple is a little taller. So the tb would fit slightly higher also.

Anyone else running this? Curious to know how they compare to the ZR1 SC swaps.

Not sure if anyone said this before but Whipple does not make a 2.9 on the 4th gen Camaro belt line. The first pictures you posted looked like they were on the 4th gen line. So you are either stuck with the 5th gen/truck or Corvette belt line.

Its a giant pain in the ***...lol
We have a 3.4 whipple on a c5z
Made an intercooled lower manifold...easier to place the blower where it fits vs changing the accessories
A 6 inch cowl barely clears the case as well

If i was starting over from square 1 i would have put turbos on it

They sell both those brackets in truck spacing which is the same as 2010 + camaro. I'm running a 2010 camaro wp now with a truck bracket. I just need a truck spacing bracket that moves the alt over

Looks sick, but at the same time it looks like a pain in the ***. Has anyone ever put a big KB or Whipple blower on a F-Body?
