Do e85, and add a 465 on top of your current pumps -if you can fit it, if not replace both for 465s-

e bay stuff scares me. Do you know if thats a real pump or a knockoff? ive got too much time and money invested to risk a major failure over some cheap pumps. those look really big. might not be able to fit 2 in the bucket.

You can fit two of those in the bucket, it's been done.

If you have E85 available locally then there is no reason not to run it. I am a firm believer that E85 has helped keep my early year LQ4 alive for 3 years now.

i do have it near me, it seems a lot more involved than I originally thought it would be. i have a very well built system now that I just did last year. how long will the racetronix pumps last with e85? they put a disclaimer on there website about running them with it.

I have 2 Walbro 255's and a Racetronix 340 in my bucket currently. The Racetronix has been in there for 2 seasons, and the 255's for 3. Have shown no signs of slowing down. AEM sells their 320 E85 pumps, and the Walbro 450's are also safe for E85.

Throw a couple 450's in and you should be fine. My buddy made 970 to the tires with -8 feed and -6 return on E85.

Are those 465 walbro pumps on eBay the real thing or are they fakes?

That's an awesome price, I'll sell my 340s and almost pay for them. Now I need lines. Lonnie's performance told me-8 -6 was fine for 1200 on e85

If you are starting fresh with new PTFE line and wanting 1200whp on corn I would at least run -10/-8

I could do that, am I still hooking everything up the same way? My filter inlet is -8 and my rails are -8 so do I just keep jumping back to -10? I'm still running 1 feed line and 1 return line to the rails right?

Also Lonnies performance needs to be slapped for telling you that a -6AN return line is ok to use for 1200whp worth of E85. Would it work? Maybe but to suggest you keep that size line when staring fresh tells me they know absolutely nothing about going fast. I would proceed with caution with them. If the filter You are referring to is post pump/pre injectors than that need to be -10AN as well. Feeding each rail with a -8AN is fine.

So then I'm running 2 -8 feed lines? Currently there's one -8 feed line, a crossover line and a return line. If so what am I switching the four outlets of my rails to?

-10 feed to a Y that splits to -8 and will feed both rails. Then run both rails to a regulator for your return.

Mine is not setup like that but I am not making anywhere near the power you want. Mine is a -8 to the passenger side rail, crosses over in the front, exits the rear of the drivers side rail, then to my regulator which is connected to my stock feed line and is now my return.

I already posted on the last page you feed both rails. Rears are both -8, front of the rail is whatever your regulator needs.
