Default Procharger Dyno

Just back from tuning the engine after the Walbro 340 and 42's injectors install.

Last time:

451.1 RWHP 514.8 RWTQ

This time:

474.8 RWHP 538.6 RWTQ - Unlocked
486.4 RWHP 440.4 RWTQ - Locked

But the biggest improvment was at part-throttle.
It was so pig-rich between 2500 and 6000, AFR was below the scale @ 10:1

AT 5200 rpms, RWHP was 325, RWTQ was 325. After getting the AFR leaned out to 11.8, RWHP jumped to 400, RWTQ to 400

I can feel that 75 jump.

It was about 5-6#'s. Can't wait for my FI heads so I can up the boost.

This thing is running better than I expected on 11:1 heads.

I'm curious to see how you feel about the power curve after you drop the compression. I'll bet it has snappy low end response with the 11:1. I know you can get bigger #'s with higher boost on lower comp. but you give up some down low. Plus you may get into the belt slip problems. You've got it pretty good right now those are nice numbers on low boost. Not trying to be a pessimist just some thoughts

If you sprayed all the way up then you should have picked up ~40 at the wheels peak. If its a wet kit it may have been too rich, getting the fuel jetting down for such a small shot takes a little time.

Also depends on bottle pressure, etc. I shut mine off at 5900 and it pretty much picks up 40-60rwhp with a 50 shot over just the blower until it shuts off - torque really jumps up.

The low end is nice. I would like to keep the power under the curve. If I had known it would have ran this well on high CR. I may not have ordered my 6.0L heads.

I took a closer look at the dyno sheet. It did run a bit leaner on a 35 shot. Bottle pressure was 950. But I did gain about 30 rwhp under the curve. Then I realized I had the Window Switch set to 6300 and I was running the dyno to 6600.

I think I would have touched 500 rwhp if I didn't cut the N20 off so soon.

Here is one of the dyno runs without N20.

I shut mine off at 5900 since my injectors are getting maxxed out. I still picked up .4 and 4mph shutting off the 50 shot at 5900 with 1000psi bottle pressure, I shift at 6500.

Knocked over a tenth off the 60' and I dont even have a purge on the car, it works..

Nice gains for a 50 dry.

Mine is a 35 wet, so don't have to worry about injectors. Oh ya, fuel pressure stayed @ 50 psi.

Still have the stock regulator. FP was 63# at idle then drops to 50# at WOT.

I am still thinking I am running out of injector at the very top end.

Man you have to be... running out of fuel some where..... my FP would fall a little to 58 PSi under WOT but other then that it would never go that low....... No drop at all this time...... steady as a rock were i set it.... 56psi... i love my external pump...and my 60#ers

be careful on the stock bottom end Ed, you're pushing it on the ringlands, and rod bolts.

It looks like I spun the engine to 7200. TC skewed the numbers. It was only 6500-6600. Just so I could find peak HP.

I have my shift points @ 6100, it shifts between 6200-6300
