Thx mate!

I am running 13psi right now but I fear the turbo is too small for this setup and all I am doing is making hot air at that PSI. I am gonna try a bigger GT67 turbo and see if it changes anything. I just get confused because the 10sec 6.0L truck uses a T76 but is only about 60-70rwhp higher than me so I'm not to sure what my problem is.

I am running an AlkyControl meth kit on this setup. I have not upgraded my intank pump (just a 255lph pusher) so the meth really helps with fueling and since I don't have an intercooler it helps bring the IATs down enough to run 18deg of timing still.

Next moves are:

Try the bigger turbo
Install 4L80E trans
Racetronics fuel pump
replace motor with low compresion 6.0L (once mine pops)

I just watched the video again, it sounds awesome LOL!

Chris

ps- If you can you should consider doing the turbo upgrade and then dyno again before goign 4L80E. Just to see the power difference between the turbos. (4L80E eats a lot of power)

Probably sound better if all else was equal.

Thx again for the kind words guys

My bigger turbo was sent out already so I'll hopefully get some #s this weekend on this unit (61mm-68mm .68 A/R) then swap it out and do some more tuning and see if bigger is better in my case. (67mm-98mm .68 A/R).

This damn rear mount stuff is so new that conventional thinking doesn't always seem to work. LOL

O/T I noticed that they don't sell the Kits on their board anymore. You have to buy them from dealers.

F8L, I may have missed it, but what is the turbo that package comes with? Would you happen to know if that is the one that comes with the LS-1 package.
I have watched your video 3 nights in a row. And now I can't sleep at night.
I'll start ordering my stuff next week. I want to make sure I do this right from the go. And thanks for all your input.
Can you tell I am getting excited??

Wildman,

I can't rememeber what size comes with the basic kit. My GT35 was supposed to be good for about 450-500rwhp and it works great but I wanted a bit more hence my upgrade of an upgrade. I should have the new unit on sometime late next week or the following and will let you know how that works out.

Once I have the truck back I will make a couple short videos of various MPH throttle mashes I really wanna let you guys see what happens when you lay it down at a 30mph roll and it drops into 1st gear! It just wont stop spinning. LOL

Are you ordering the kit from Synergy Motorsports by chance?

Not at this moment, I already told another dealer in Texas that he has my business. He has been very informative. Unless that changes, I will stick with him.
I appreciate all the info you are giving. Maybe one day I'll see you and that BAD A$$ truck of yours at a gathering.

Ohh good deal. If it's who I think it is then he'll take care of ya

When you get your kit on just be sure to get me some cool videos that I can watch before going to sleep Hahaha

Just go slow on the boost and monitor EVERYTHING before trying to add more power. Only take a lil detonation to create alot of problems I killed 3 motors in my supercharged Mustang before learning the importance of fuel and tuning
