Ok so I pulled the trigger on a whipple 2.9 for my lsx cutlass.
Right now car has a 2010 ly6 with a mast motorsports performance package.
Cam 224 238 .578 .593 115 lsa ( car has vvt)
Springs
Ecm/ harness.
Hooker 3 in ss exhaust
17/8 long tubes
How is this cam for forced induction? I realize it's not ideal, but I'm wondering how much power im gonna leave on the table using this cam. Also right now fuel system is corvette filter/ reg, racetronix 340lph, an 6 teflon lines. How can I upgrade this on a budget? Took me a while to save for whipple .plus I still have cowl induction hood to buy, and fig out front accesory drive. Thinking of meth injection since I will be running 93 e10. Straight meth or water/meth? . Talked to whipple and I guess easiest way is pre blower. This is my first attempt at FI so any help is apprec

Fuel upgrade would be dependent on HP goals I would think. A walbro single 460 is what I have with -8 feed/ -6 return. With a goal of 600whp, unfortunately Ive never got dyno sheet making serious power to see how it actually kept up.
Other common setups are multiple pumps with secondary engaged with Hobbs switch set to certain boost level.

You will want to get a good quality boost referenced regulator.
Since your only running 93, that helps as well since Corn requires much more volume as well as buying fuel components that can handle it.

That's great to hear, I was worried about the cam. I bought the hotrod kit so I still have to pick a heat exchanger, injectors, upgrade fuel system ect... Mast is sending me a tune .

I bought the ls3 hot rod kit ,$5920 shipped.still need about 1k to install.lol still needs a heat exchanger, pump, injectors, then I have to move Ac , alt. upgrade fuel system etc..

What are you gonna use for reservoir tank?
I previously had a Whipple on my car. Used a 5 gallon tank mounted in trunk that I could fill with ice. Worked decent for track work. Volume and flow are your friend. Pump doesn't need to run all the time either. Use a hobbs on it with an override switch.
Loved the low-mid range fun with the help whipple. Wish I would have added a direct port kit on it and left it alone.

The cam will be fine... I ran almost the same cam (226/238, 115lsa) and made 901 rwhp with it in a 402"... It should work great with your whipple.
I would sweat anything in your motor... Slap the blower on and go.
