Default D1 with aster kit? Or buy kit whole!

Ok so I'm looking to put a d1 on my 00' SS.

I am wondering if anyone has used the aster bracket to piece together their build mainly.

If someone could tell me exactly what is needed to have everything installed, running and driving.

I worry it'll be too much leg work, to where buying a complete kit is more cost effective/less hastle.

If someone could pm me their experience in building an aster kit that would be amazing. (Bc checking threads gets crazy)

I put together the above info about a week ago. I'm not done with it yet but it will let you know what parts you need. Let me know if you have any questions. Bob

Like others have said, the two most important pieces are the head unit itself and the bracket. Some have gotten by with the j-bracket, but if you can afford the aster bracket, that's the way to go. Going Procharged is still my dream that I'm slowly saving to make come true.
