Default Easy EFI?

Easiest and most affordable way to go EFI on my carb TT setup with cathedral port heads running E85. Truck intake and throttle body, flex fuel injectors and ECM with HP Tuners??

Most affordable? Stock pcm.

Easiest? Aftermarket all the way. Ms3 Pro, Holley, etc. All easier to wire and tune, and have safety features that are great for boost.

Microsquirt with stock truck intake is probably going to be easiest and possibly cheapest too.

yes . microsquirt plug and play from efisourse.com. about $800.00 . download tunerstudio for free and start tuning. you need more than flex injectors . a set of deka 80# is a good start. do some searching and make up your own mind. I went micro 3 years ago and have no regrets . it does everything I need.

You can get micro for $650 plug and play from a couple of EFI source dealers. By the time you get a stock ECU and harness, get it tuned and have the harness reworked for a standalone setup, you will probably come close to a break even.

Cool, thanks. I'll look into Microsquirt... Would really like to use a Holley Hi-Ram intake, but we'll see.

For a little more money you could get the gold box from them as well. It will add the ability to control boost, traction control, And a few other odds and ends in one package that plays really well together.

What is the difference in the microsquirt V3 and the plug and play for $650? I know the plug and play has all the connectors, just wondering what else it has.

micro, microsquirt, and microsquirt v3 are all the same thing just terminology

if you are looking at the base micro, its 299 un modified.

it takes a small modification to be able to fire all 8 coils on the LS engine, so you can buy it from EFI source pre-modified for LS engines

then there is a 30 inch harness, for like 30 dollars and a 80ft harness for approx 60-70 dollars i think? then you would have to wire yourself since they are flying lead (open end just with ECU connector)

then you can get the plug and play microsquirt version,
wich is the Micro v3 cased ecu, pre modified for LSX and a plug and play harness that plugs directly into the Ls based motor.
for approx 650~ i believe (shannon taylor)
and from EFI source 795$
