Default Aster bracket and turn one power steering pump

Hey guys

So I'm installing a aster bracket and have a turn one power steering plump and I'm having an issue with alignment. From what I'm seeing the pulley needs to go towards the block and I can't because of the power steering pulley. I'm wondering if someone else has installed a aster bracket with a turn one pump.

Any help would be great, pics attached

Thanks

Any one that can help with this issue I would be great full. I moved the power steering pump so I can do what ever with the bracket but still can't get it to line up. If I don't have have any spacers on the stand offs and a washer on the on the idler pulley the bracket sits flush with the stand offs. But if I don't have the washer on the idler pulley the bracket doesn't sit flush against the stand offs. So I don't have any spacers and nothing between the idler pulley and the bracket and still can't get it close enough to the block.

I have read on here all of the post with ppl having issues and how they solved it and can't figure this out. Please help if you have this bracket on

Thanks

I am running the same setup. Asters bracket with a the Turnone pulley setup. I even have the same laser belt aligning tool.
I know this is a dumb question but, is the powersteering pulley bottomed on the shaft. It took a bit to get it completely bottom on my car.

I had to play with the supplied shims and add 3 washer to get perfect blower belt alignment. One washer at the bottom of the bracket and two small washers between the bracket and tensioner.

Looks like you need a small shim on the the bottom of the bracket. Also you don't have the belt on. With the belt off the tensioner pulley is very close to the power steering pulley. When you put the belt on there is a lot more clearance.

Hopefully this helps.

yeah I didn't have the belt on because I was taking the bracket off and putting it back on to find the correct combination of shims and washers. think I pulled it off 100 time haha, I spoke to aster and he said I might just want to put a shim behind the balancer. I don't have any shims between the tensioner and the bracket and im still not close enough to the block... I see you have washers between yours. I will see if I can push the pulley on the power steering pump back on the shaft a lil more tonight. I'm at the point if I cant get this figured out sooner than later im going to switch to a turbo haha.

I was hoping to use a TurnOne with an Aster bracket... how did this turn out?

I had to shim out my balancer on my car. Did it with washers. Sounds ghetto but cheap easy fix and worked great.

Don, that's what I did but I had to shim the balancer pulley and 1/8" which was a lot and I had to put a smaller shim on the sc. Everything is very close but seems to be alright. I think the belt is a bit longer than it needs to be because the tensioner is not in the middle (closer to the full extension) and it's on the furthest hole from the sc on the bracket.
